PLUS, UH, IT'S CERTAINLY BEEN A PRIVILEGE, UH, PRIVILEGE WORKING WITH STAFF AND, UH, CERTAINLY, UH, HEARING FROM ALL THE RESIDENTS AND, AND, UH, TRYING TO GIVE THEM THEIR, THEIR SAY AND TRYING TO DO WHAT WE CAN TO, TO WORK WITH THE COMMUNITY AS BEST WE CAN, UH, TO PROVIDE, UM, UH, OUTCOMES THAT ARE WITHIN THE LAW.
AND OBVIOUSLY, UM, UH, CERTAINLY ACCOMMODATING, UH, ACCOMMODATING THOSE RESIDENTS IN OUR COMMUNITY AND BUSINESS OWNERS.
SO, UM, CERTAINLY WANT TO THANK EVERYONE FOR THAT OPPORTUNITY, AND I'LL CERTAINLY PASS IT ALONG TO THE NEW, UH, CHAIR OF THE COMMISSION.

AND, AND HE HAS, DEMONSTR CONTINUES TO DEMONSTRATE, UH, THE, HIS STRONG LEADERSHIP IN THE LAST YEAR AND ALL THE DEVELOPMENT THAT THE CITY OF WEST FINN HAS DEVELOPED AND, AND OUR HOUSING MARKET.
UH, WOULD ANY COMMISSIONER'S LIKES REPORT OR COMMENT ON AN ITEM? NO.
AND, UM, APPOINTMENT OF A NEW DESIGN REVIEW SUBCOMMITTEE MEMBERS DO, WE HAVE TWO PLANNING COMMISSIONERS WHO WOULD LIKE TO VOLUNTEER FOR THE DESIGN REVIEW SUBCOMMITTEE.
AND SO SOMEONE WHO WOULD LIKE TO SERVE AS AN ALTERNATIVE.

[4. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR'S REPORT]
AND, UH, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTORS REPORT POLLEN.DO WE HAVE ANY, I DO YOU HAVE ANY ITEMS TO REPORT? YES, AS, UH, WE NOTICED OUR LAST PLANNING COMMISSION WAS IN APRIL.
SO SINCE THEN WE'VE KICKED OFF OUR SUMMER CONCERT SERIES.
SO THE CITY HAS, UM, I BELIEVE IT'S FIVE OR SIX

CONCERTS THROUGHOUT, UM, JUNE AND JULY.WE HOLD THEM HERE AT THE CIVIC CENTER COURTYARD WEDNESDAYS.
UM, THEY, THE CONCERT START AT SIX PE, OR, SORRY, SO CONCERT STARTS AT SEVEN, BUT PEOPLE SHOULD START SHOWING UP AROUND SIX TO SAVE THEIR SEATS.
UM, SO WE DO HAVE A LINEUP, UM, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE JULY 4TH WEEK.
WE DO NOT HAVE A CONCERT ON THE WEDNESDAY, CUZ WE WILL BE HAVING A 4TH OF JULY EVENT, UH, TUESDAY, JULY 4TH UP AT THE SPORTSPLEX.
WE ARE BRINGING, WE ARE FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO BE ABLE TO BRING BACK, UM, OUR 4TH OF JULY FIREWORKS EVENT.
AND SO THAT WILL BE UP AT THE SPORTS PLEX, AS I MENTIONED, UM, TO HELP ENCOURAGE, UM, OR REDUCE TRAFFIC.
UH, WE ARE ENCOURAGING RESIDENTS AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS THAT WANNA ATTEND THE, UM, EVENT TO TAKE SHUTTLES.
THE SHUTTLES ARE, UM, GONNA BE PROVIDED, UH, FROM CITY HALL, CORTEZ PARK, SHADOW OAK PARK, AND THEN THE PARKING LOT AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF AMAR AND AZUA.
UM, THE SHUTTLES WILL START PICKING UP, UM, AT ONE O'CLOCK.
UM, AND THEY DO TAKE AROUND 20 TO 30 MINUTES FOR THE TURNAROUND, SO EVERY 20 TO 30 MINUTES FROM THOSE LOCATIONS.
UM, SO WE ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO TAKE THE SHUTTLE WHEN POSSIBLE, UM, AND HOPE TO SEE EVERYONE AT THE 4TH OF JULY EVENT THIS YEAR.
THE OTHER THING TOO, UM, WE DID HAVE THE MODEL HOMES AT MERITAGE WEST CAMERON TOO, UM, OPEN UP THIS LAST WEEKEND.
SO THEY ARE NOW, UM, OPEN FOR VIEWING IF THE PLANNING COMMISSION WOULD LIKE TO GO, WE CAN, UM, SEND YOU GUYS AN INVITATION.
BUT THEY DO HAVE A OPEN HOUSE OR A OPEN HOURS THAT ANYONE CAN STOP BY, SO IT'S OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS WELL.
AND THEN WE DID HAVE A RIBBON CUTTING FOR TITO'S PIZZA BREW LOCATED AT AMAR AZUA AT THE FORMER SHAKY RESTAURANT.
UM, SO WE WERE ABLE TO CELEBRATE THEIR RIBBON CUTTING, GROUND OPENING.
UM, AND I BELIEVE THAT'S IT FOR, UH, DIRECTOR'S REPORTS.
[5. CITY COUNCIL ACTION]
CITY COUNCIL ACTION.PAULINA, DO YOU HAVE ANY COUNCIL ACTIONS TO REPORT? UM, YES.
AT THE, THE CITY COUNCIL HAS APPROVED OR ADOPTED THE FISCAL YEAR 2324 BUDGET.
SO, UM, WE'RE GONNA GET STARTED ON THAT FISCAL YEAR, THIS COMING WEEK.
BUT I THINK OTHER THAN THAT, THERE'S NO OTHER COUNCIL OPTION.
AND, UH, AGAIN, UH, IT'S A PRIVILEGE TO SERVE AS CHAIR AND, AND I'D ALSO LIKE TO THANK, UH, CITY STAFF, UH, FOR ALL THEIR HARD WORK AND, AND ALL THE STAFF OF THE CITY OF WEST VIN FOR WHAT THEY DO TO MAKE OUR CITY PROSPER IN, IN, IN DEVELOPMENT.
